Senior Teacher – Corporate Projects

ACET is recruiting one Senior Teacher (Full-time) for Corporate Projects

Purpose:
The Senior Teacher – Corporate projects is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and maintenance of high-quality Corporate and Schools Link programmes in line with the strategic goals of ACET. In addition to teaching their own classes, the ST is involved with the development and maintenance of curricula, pacing guides, and assessments for Corporate and Schools Link projects; teacher support; and liaising with the clients, ACET Nationwide Corporate Manager, teachers, and ACET Academic Management team. This is a junior-level Academic Management position ideal for candidates who are looking to be involved with curriculum development, project development/management, or academic management work.
The role is a full-time position consisting of at least 15 teaching hours and 10 admin hours per week. In the event that the ST does not teach 15 hours in a week, admin hours will be counted towards teaching hours at the ratio of 2 admin hours = 1 teaching hour. Placement Testing and Marketing events count as admin hours. The final-month salary is calculated pro-rata based on the number of teaching hours taught that month.

Key areas of responsibility
Curriculum and project development:
● Work with the DoS and Nationwide Corporate Manager to create and maintain all curriculum documents for Corporate and Schools Link programmes, e.g. pacing guides and assessments.
● Create, maintain, and update course and assessment information on all Corporate and Schools Link programmes
● Collate client, student, and teacher feedback and liaise with the DoS on any curriculum changes
Administrative and project management:
● Update curriculum documents (e.g. pacing guides, assessments) in response to client feedback or as requested by the DoS
● Support with Placement Testing and Marketing events when necessary
Academic management and teacher support:
● Conduct induction sessions and provide ongoing support for teachers new to Corporate and Schools Link programmes
● In coordination with the DoS and/or ADoS, respond to client feedback on teaching quality via teacher observations, teacher support and advice, or teacher training workshops
● Maintain and monitor teacher professionalism, reporting any problems to the DoS/ADoS
● Be available to cover Corporate classes as needed
Teaching:
● Teach own high-quality Corporate or Schools Link classes (minimum 15 hours/week)

Candidate requirements
Essential requirements (skills, knowledge, experience, & qualifications):
● An undergraduate degree from a recognized university
● An internationally recognized English language teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA or equivalent)
● Minimum 1 year English language teaching experience at reputable institutions
● Experience teaching teens, adults, IELTS, Academic English, and/or Business English
● Organized, professional, and detail-oriented
● Good interpersonal/intercultural skills
Desirable requirements:
● A postgraduate ELT/TESOL qualification, such as DELTA or Master’s degree in ELT/TESOL (or in progress)
● Previous academic management or curriculum development experience
● Experience teaching Corporate clients
● ELT experience in Vietnam or Asia

Benefit Package

• 12 months contract with fix monthly salary

• Teaching hours: 15 teaching hours + 10 admin hours per week. (60 teaching hours + 40 admin hrs/month )
* Cover class teaching hours will be included in the total teaching hours at the end of the contract
• Admin hours: Curriculum and project development, Administrative and project management, Academic management and teacher support.
• For HCM: If the Admin hours don’t’ meet the requirement due to the number of Corporate Project then the Admin hours will be converted to teaching hour as 02 admin hours = 01 teaching hour

• Salary (Gross): 52,460,000 VND/month

• End of contract bonus:
* 1st contract: half month salary + 10,000,000 VND
* 2nd contract: half month salary + 15,000,000 VND
* From the 3rd contract: half month salary + 20,000,000 VND
** Teacher have to complete the contract period, meet the teaching hours, admin hours requirement and other KPIs
if teacher didn’t meet the required teaching hour the bonus will be pro rata

• Annual leave: 12 days per year
• Sick leave: Comply with SHUI law
• Work permit: cover up to 6,000,000 VND
• TRC: Cover up to 3,500,000 VND
• No payment for teacher meeting and workshop
