Job Title: Part-Time English Teacher
Context: It is understood that a job description can never put into words all of the qualities that a good teacher embodies. It is hoped that all our teachers will strive to inspire, encourage and nurture all students to the best of their ability.
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified teacher who is capable of teaching English for the ISPH English Community programme. These are the English classes for children aged 6 to 12 years old on weekday evenings. The programme will help children build a strong English language foundation using a fun, engaging, and internationally recognised program. The English teacher is responsible for the delivery of high-quality language instruction and authentic pronunciation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and deliver communicative, student-centred, and participative lessons, adhering to a designated syllabus.
- Administer, grade, and provide constructive feedback on course tests, ensuring students' progress is accurately tracked.
- Prepare and write comprehensive student reports that offer insights into their development and areas for improvement.
- Conduct placement testing to accurately assess students' proficiency levels and place them in appropriate classes (if any)

REQUIREMENTS
- Holding a Bachelor's in English or equivalent
- Teaching license / PGCE.
- Experience at least 2 years teaching in a similar or above position.
- Clean criminal record check (with validity within 6 months)
- A deep love for children and a profound passion for education
- Fluent-level English speaker with an accent discernible to Vietnamese students.
- Competency in class management, time management, interpersonal relations and teamwork.
