NATIVE LEVEL_KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS_TAN BINH DISTRICT & DISTRICT 12_HO CHI MINH

Position           : A full-time Native Teacher in Tan Binh District ; A full-time Fillipino Teacher in District 12, Ho Chi Minh

Report to         : Academic Manager

Working location: Tan Binh district ; District 12 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and delivering lessons, following Reggio Curriculum and method.
• Devoted into teaching children, provide the safety learning and playing environment.
• Working well with parents, BOM and the Nurse in teaching and taking care of the children.
• Using teaching aids and teaching materials economically.
• Participating in all events/ extra activities held by the School.

1. Teaching:

• Deliver the lesson with different interesting activities, keep interact to children and encourage them to participate into the activities.
• Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, encourage children to play and to learn actively.
• Make teaching aids to be used in the lessons, decorate the classroom following the topics.
• Set up the group/ class rules and encourage children to follow those rules.
• Display the children products, encourage them to be creative and support them to finish their work on time.
• Assist in the keeping and updating of children’s records and observations
• Act as main teacher in the class and lead the Vietnamese Teaching Assistant in preparing teaching resources, delivering lessons.
• Co-operate to the class teacher into preparing the lesson plans, weekly plan…
• Ensure that the children are safe at all times: in the classroom, in the playground or extra activities.
• Ensuring that the children developed well: physical, social, creative, conscious and language development.

2. Others

• Participate in all school activities (regular and extra activities).
• Help and instruct new teachers.
• Communicate to parents about their children’s matter and progress.
• Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. General

• Female, ages preferred: 23-35
• Native level English speaker
• Education: Have a Bachelor Degree of Early Childhood Education or TEFL/ TESOL/ CELTA teaching certificate

• Experience: Have at least 1 year in teaching children experience.

2. Skills

• Planning and organizing skills.
• Good Communication.
• Problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to work in teams.
• IT skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint…)
• Abilities: having some skills relate to music, art …;

3. Attitude

• Be responsible and active member while conveying respect and guidance to the Vietnamese Teaching Assistant.
• Role model appropriate behavior and language.
• Be energetic, caring, devoted to children. Speak to them in a friendly, courteous manner encouraging children to participate in conversations and discussions in order to extend their vocabulary and use of language.
