Description

1.Main Responsibilities:

  • Quality management of teaching and training programs
  • Management of employees and teachers

2. Tasks.

Conduct research and development:

With the new program:

  • Receive requests for a new program from the leadership team and admissions department, provide professional advice on the program's feasibility, and continue discussions with stakeholders (TRM, operations, R&D, sales) until finalizing the objectives, inputs, outputs, and program structure (hours, teacher ratio).
  • Discuss, research, and plan the course design and assessment with the R&D Leader/Product Owner.
  • Monitor the program development process, ensuring both professional and practical aspects are taken into account
  • Supervise the training process and hand over the product to stakeholders.

For the existing program:

  • Monitor to ensure that the program revision is carried out on time and reasonably.

Management, training, and quality control of teachers

  • Teacher screening: Review demo recordings or conduct direct interviews with teachers.
  • Coordinate with the TRM Officer to mobilize teachers and ensure that there are enough qualified teachers for each class.
  • Provide subject-specific training for teachers upon signing the contract with IGS.
  • Attend classes and conduct regular monitoring to ensure teaching quality
  • Lead bi-weekly meetings with all teachers together with the US-based executive team.

Work with partners.

  • Support market expansion and program/operational collaboration with partners (companies or schools), including Victory, Alpha, Wellspring, Saint Nicholas, Newton.
  • Responsible for developing programs for partner schools
  • Responsible for training teachers for partner schools
  • Responsible for overseeing operations and teaching quality for the IvyPrep program implemented in partner schools.

Operation of the foundation and schools

  • Support the monitoring of classroom operations, propose and provide feedback to optimize costs and operational models.
  • Provide support to meet and address concerns of parents upon request.
  • Represent the IGS Vietnam team in working with the Board of Directors to develop the school year calendar and operational directions

Sales & Marketing

  • Attend online branding and sales workshops, introduce and discuss IGS programs to help potential parents understand and better grasp the programs

Ensure collaboration between teams.

  • Ensure effective collaboration among teams, establish reasonable procedures, resolve issues when they arise, and document information for future reference
  • Hold weekly/monthly team meetings depending on the scope of work and collaboration level.

3. Job requirements:

  • Graduated from a Foreign Language University or a Pedagogical University majoring in English up to (in Vietnam or abroad).
  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, including 2-3years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth understanding of American-standard curriculum
  • Ability to work under high pressure.
  • Excellent professional knowledge, management skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills; Ability to present, persuade, and teach effectively
