The incumbent will carry out the tasks assigned to him / her by the Company’ Board of Directors related to the development and implementation of IGCSE curriculum and quality control of all academic matters in the High School Maths & Science department. The incumbent will also be assigned a teaching schedule in accordance with their workload and the needs of the Company. Job description: The incumbent will be responsible for:

• All aspects of curriculum development and implementation for grade 10-12 of the Integrated IGCSE curriculum and any other grade 10-12 curriculum the company may choose to adopt;
• Curriculum development and implementation with a particular focus on the integration of STEM in the Integrated Programme;
• Ongoing monitoring of curriculum implementation across the High School Maths & Science department, providing feedback to Senior Management when requested;
• Developing assessment materials and strategies that meet bench-markingstandards as set out by the exam management procedures of EMG and other curriculum partners;
• Implementation of quality control procedures and action plans to ensure that lessons delivered by the High School Maths & Science department are in line with the expected level of quality;
• Conducting regular professional development with the High School Maths & Science department on best practices for teaching and learning;
• Encouraging staff to discuss ideas for best practice in teaching and learning and to foster an atmosphere of creativity and development in teaching, learning and assessment;
• Ensuring all teachers have appropriate knowledge of the relevant subject area and that this is regularly updated so that students benefit from the most up to date industry practices;
• Teaching Maths and/or Science for students at the High school level.

Job requirements:

• Be a native-speaker and hold a valid passport from an English-speaking country.
• Have completed a four-year program university (B.A., B.S., et cetera) in a relevant field.
• PGCE or equivalent post-graduate certification in Education required.
• Have an accredited TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL certificate.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching High school Maths or Science following a British curriculum in the UK or internationally.
• Experience in academic management in an international setting is a plus.
• Possess qualities of diligence, flexibility, open-mindedness, cultural sensitivity and patience.

Salary and Benefits

• A monthly gross salary is of from 70 to 90 million VND per month
• The work permit application fee will be paid for by EMG.  The employee must provide the required documents;
