NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHER RECRUITMENT
Job Title: Full-time native teachers
Number: 03 (based in Can Tho and occasionally to nearby provinces in the Mekong Delta)
Tentative starting working date: 15thFebruary 2019
Contract duration: Minimum 1 year
Job descriptions:
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching (delivering English Language teaching in accordance with curriculum, policies, procedures): including all programs: English for young learners and teenagers, General English, Communication, IELTS, Academic English, Flexi-time program (tutoring mode to individual students);
- Syllabus and material development (preparing course work materials, tests, examination papers, homework assignments, and handouts, writing new materials including audio and visual resources);
- Placement test development and administration;
- Evaluating students' class work and other assignments;
- Planning and teaching Professional Development Programs for Vietnamese teachers of English at the school;
- Planning and participating in social and English promotion programs organized by the school.
- Job Requirements
- Native speakers of English (American, English, Canadian, New Zealanders, Australian and Filipino are preferred);
- University degree (regardless of majors/ disciplines);
- Professional teaching degrees/ certificates (TESOL, TEFL/ CELTA); Bachelor or Master Degree in TESOL/TEFL/ELT is prioritised;
- Native-like level of English communication;
- At least 1 year of experience of teaching English for children/ adults: inexperienced teachers are welcome but will be evaluated on the basis of interviews;
- Experience in teaching IELTS and kids is preferred; knowledge/ experience of Steiner Waldorf is a bonus;
- Good commitment and attitude towards the teaching career;
- Commitment to professional development and activities in the school: long-term commitment is preferred;

The following general conditions apply to full-time native teachers.
- Working hours: maximum 34 hours/ week
- Working days: 6 days/ week (one full day off/ week)
- Salary and benefits:
+ 1.200 - 1600 USD/ month (before tax): salary decided based on competence, experience, commitment and working hours.
+ Transportation and accommodation are provided (bicycle or motorcycles);
+ Visa and other legal procedures costs: fully supported by the school;
+ Pick up from airport service, orientation and other necessary trainings before teaching;
+ On-going training and support for conferences and workshops participation;
+ Teaching materials (textbooks) are provided with syllabus; frequent sharing sessions and other professional development activities are provided;
+ Cultural tours around the areas are organized;
+ Vietnamese lessons are provided.
