Foreigner Academic Manager_HO CHI MINH

Foreigner Academic Manager who manages 3-4 centers with all areas:

1. Oversee daily operations of the academic department and provide support for the academic team/Sale & Service Department:

• Work closely with Academic coordinators for Teacher and TA scheduling and student progress.
• Observe teachers and TAs and give feedback for classroom or self-improvement.
• Understand classroom situations and find solutions to any difficulties.
• Communicate with CM about classroom situations and opening/merging/closing classes.

• Communicate with CSO about parent request and complaints related to the academic department

2. Coordinate with HR/coordinators with the recruiting procedure:

• To hire Foreign Teachers/Vietnamese Teachers/Teaching Assistant for the center which they will work for.
• To hire academic staff for the centers which they will work for.

3. Provide training/workshops and mentoring to develop a growing academic team (which includes Native English teachers, Vietnamese Teachers and Vietnamese teacher assistants.)

4. Working with Marketing side:

• Communicate with MKT team to arrange and plan events that promote the school.

• Arrange schedules for Events, classes, demos and placement tests.

5. Teaching:

• Teaching for covering class/make-up class/Doing placement test.

6. Working with Board of Manager (BOM):

• Communicate with BOM team for changes and updates to be made in the academic department.
• Other tasks may be assigned by BOM when required.
• At work, under the direction of BOM and direct manager.

7. WORKING REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree
• Good knowledge of Education in Vietnam and current trends in Education Experience in Academic Manager, Head of Teacher, Recruitment, Leadership. Experience in teaching Robotic, STEM subjects is an advantage
• Works well with technology
• Committed and dedicated team player
• Friendly, active, positive attitude

8. SALARY & BENEFIT:

• A competitive salary: 40 million - 60 million VND depending on qualifications and experience
• Support towards obtaining a full Visa and Work Permit
