Description

American Academy is looking for experienced, dynamic ESL teachers to work at various our AMA campuses in Ho Chi Minh city.  For our Binh Thanh campus in Ho Chi Minh, we have year-round part-time positions open for teaching young learners/adult/public school students on weekdays and weekends.

 

Education background:

- Highly experienced instructional background, with knowledge and familiarity of the psychology of ESL students.

-  Certified after formal training in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is required.  Online TEFL is accepted.

- Teachers with a 4-year degree strongly preferred.

- Must be a native English speaker.

Benefits of teaching:

- Teachers are paid at an hourly rate of $16 - $17 USD with no tax affects (NET), based on qualifications and experience.

Essential skills & Experience :

  • Native speakers of English, primarily from the UK, US, Australia, and Canada.
  • Committed to educating students in full compliance Vietnam’s Code of Ethics, Culture, and Political Regime.
  • Teachers who are experienced in teaching communicative English as well as English for International exams (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, FCE) should be strongly preferred.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, disciplined, engaged, and creative and flexible in eliciting top student performance.
