AMA Buon Ma Thuot has been operating for 5 years, offers classes to pre-schoolers, kindergartners, kids and teens, those preparing for IELTS, and Communicative English for adults. Classes in the center are both group based, and 1 on 1 (Active Learning.

We are looking for a native speaker from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand with a degree, and a TEFL (or equivalent).

Those looking to stay at least 1 year preferred.

Base salary is $1400 USD a month, your rate increases for teaching kindergarten and teen classes at the center, and there are many private tutoring options available if you are interested.

You will be expected to share the delivery of existing classes at the center, and work at a local public school a couple of times a week if you are interested, supported by at least 1 Vietnamese teacher.

Working hours fluctuate seasonally, with an average of 18 to 25 teaching hours a week being the norm.

Buon Ma Thuot has a very low cost of living, and it is quite easy to save 50% of your salary each month.

Buon Ma Thuot is the coffee capital of Vietnam (pop. 5000k), and the capital city of Daklak province. BMT is 550 meters above sea level, has 2 seasons (dry and hot, and wet and hot) both of which are quite mild compared to coastal and capital cities. We have good road, transport, and drainage infrastructure, so it is easy to get around, and flooding is very rare. The local airport is serviced by 6 incoming and outgoing flights a day, destinations being both capital's and smaller coastal cities.
There are a number of public and private hospitals, as well as specialized clinics for most common, and not so common ailments.

BMT has a rich and diverse ethnic minority culture, with many local street markets open from the predawn hours, diverse travel/sightseeing opportunities, and very warm and welcoming locals.

BMT is a laid back rural capital, but with all the comforts, and necessities foreigners want.

Any and all enquiries answered. :)
