Atlantic Five-Star English-Ielts teachers for IELTS project in Hanoi

 Atlantic Five-Star English is seeking expressions of interest for the Hanoi DOET IELTS project, which is starting up very soon.

Teachers will deliver lessons throughout 2.5 months to Vietnamese teachers of English, with the ultimate goal of students achieving an overall IELTS score.

This post is the right fit for experienced, effective teachers looking for daytime teaching hours during the week.

Purpose: help Hanoi English teachers improve their IELTS band scores

Expected start: on or after 15 Oct

Expected finish: on or after 24 Dec

Timetable: trainees will attend 5 days / week, 6 hours / day - exact days are TBC and may include weekends. Trainers may apply on a part-time or full-time basis.

Per the Hanoi DOET requirements, trainers must have a passport from a country where English is the main language, such as the UK, US, South Africa, the Philippines, etc. Trainers must have significant teaching experience, including experience teaching IELTS. Trainers must also have the right to work legally in Vietnam as an English teacher.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

• CELTA / Trinity CertTESOL / equivalent teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Minimum 2 years’ English teaching experience, including experience teaching IELTS and experience teaching adults
• A clean criminal record
• Full visa and work permit for teaching in Vietnam

Desirable

• Delta / DipTESOL / relevant MA with practical teaching component
• IELTS examiner certification (active or lapsed)
• 3+ years’ teaching experience
• previous experience of working with Vietnamese teachers
