Description

The role of Academic Manager is one of high responsibility, directly
concerned with the leadership and academic management of the centre.
The Academic Manager's vision, inspiration, initiative and management
are fundamental in creating a climate which enables every member of the
teaching team to flourish, and the Academic Managers relationship with
the centre management team will be essential to the smooth running and
development of the centre.
The key area of focus is on the management of ILA teachers in the
delivery of education and the welfare of our students, and their support
and development. As an Academic Manager, you are responsible for
developing and supporting teachers to deliver engaging, interesting and
involving lessons that benefit learners both inside and outside the
classroom.
The ideal Academic Manager will be energetic, outgoing with a high level
of responsibility and authority with a positive can-do approach to work. As
an Academic Manager, you should be able to demonstrate willingness,
flexibility, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Qualifications:

Essential
Educated to degree Level
Current Cambridge CELTA/ Trinity TESOL certificate, or equivalent
Trinity or Cambridge Diploma (DELTA)
Native English Speaker or native English level (IELTS 7.5) speaker.
Clean criminal background check from home country (or Vietnam).
Three years teaching experience across a range of levels.
Management experience highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
A great deal of energy and enthusiasm.
Ability to work in a team.
Experience working within a reputable language teaching organization.
To be comfortable teaching with technology.

Job summary:

To ensure the delivery of an outstanding academic programme in which
EFL Teachers execute their lessons in an engaging, motivational and
inspirational way in order to facilitate and ensure students progress in
English.
The Academic Manager also teaches regular EY and EA classes and
supports the Regional Academic Manager and Product Manager(s) with
certain administrative duties. The professionals who wish to pursue a long
term career in academic management.
