• Teach with a high level of professionalism; execute effective lessons in line with the Primary curriculum (Common Core / NGSS / Singapore Maths); meet learning objectives and outcomes for primary students
• Follow and uphold school standards, policies, and expectations and maintain a high-quality, professional image for the school.
• Provide R & D support, actively involved with / support school events, outings, celebrations and assist in special circumstances: performances, graduations, campus checks
• Promote students’ academic, personal, and social development beyond the classroom (especially as the lead teacher of the assigned class)
• Communicate with parents as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Overall:
• BA or higher in Primary Education or major in relevant field + CELTA/TESOL/TEFL
• Primary teaching experience preferred
Skills:
• Strong classroom management
• Knowledge of various teaching methods and delivery
• Good computing skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Effective communication skills to develop efficient student and parent relationships
Personality:
• Willingness to embrace school core values and culture
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Creative
• Well-organized and responsible
