Exploring Grand World at Ocean Park 3, Hanoi
Located just outside of Hanoi, Ocean Park 3 is a popular destination for both locals and visitors. While the entire complex offers a wide range of activities, the highlight is undoubtedly Grand World — a beautifully designed area that recreates the atmosphere of some of the world’s most iconic cities. Best of all, it’s free to enter, making it an ideal day trip from Hanoi.

What to See in Grand World
Grand World is thoughtfully divided into themed sections inspired by famous international destinations. Each area is carefully designed to reflect the architecture, culture, and atmosphere of the city it represents, offering visitors a unique experience as they explore different parts of the world in one place.

Venice
The Venice section is one of the most impressive areas in Grand World. A central lake winds through the area, complete with elegant bridges and colorful buildings inspired by traditional Venetian architecture. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing gondola ride along the canal, offering a peaceful way to take in the surroundings.
Both sides of the Venice section are packed with cafes and restaurants, so it is easy to stop and get something to eat and watch the gondolas float by – with prices being extremely reasonable.

Korea
Korea World offers a taste of Seoul’s lively streets and traditional charm. The buildings feature tiled rooftops and wooden details reminiscent of hanok houses. The area is also home to several Korean-style cafes and street food stalls, where visitors can try popular dishes such as tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and kimbap (seaweed rolls).

London
The London section brings a touch of British charm to Grand World. Red telephone boxes, Union Jack flags, and a huge London Bridge complete with traditional lifts. Cross over this huge structure to get to the other countries, which are featured. Although the whole of Grand World is designed for photo taking, this impressive structure is certainly a highlight of the trip!

Getting to Ocean Park 3 from Hanoi
Reaching Ocean Park 3 from central Hanoi is straightforward and convenient, thanks to the free electric bus (OCT2) service. The bus is clean, air-conditioned, and easy to spot with its distinctive green design. The main pick-up point is in front of the State Bank of Vietnam at 51 Ly Thai To Street. There is a small bus stop there and it clearly states the OCT2 – Vin bus. However, please note that this is also the bus stop area for normal buses, so if you are close by, then you will see buses stopping in this area, so that can guide you.
The buses operate from 8:00 AM to midnight, running approximately every 15 to 30 minutes, making it easy to plan your visit.

The journey to Ocean Park 3 takes around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. When boarding the bus, it’s important to note that it stops at Ocean Park 1 first. Do not get off there, as Grand World is located in Ocean Park 3. Stay on the bus until you see the Mega World Shopping Mall — it’s large and hard to miss — which is your signal to get off. This is the closest stop to Grand World and from there, it’s just a short walk to the entrance.

When returning to Hanoi, be careful to board the OCT2 bus rather than the OCP2 bus. The OCP2 bus follows a circular route around the Ocean Park complex only – which is nice for seeing other features of Ocean Park but not useful for getting you back to the city.
The return bus stop is further along the road from where you are dropped off. From Mega World Shopping Mall, cross over the main road (parallel with the main Venice street – not towards it ), and you will find the bus stop along here. Be sure to double-check the sign on the bus before getting on to avoid any confusion.
