3 Steps to Apply for Temporary Residence Online for Foreigners
To apply for temporary residence online for foreigners, follow these 3 steps:
Step 1: Access and Create an Account at the Website
Visit the official website: http://xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/
Add the province or city (no tones, continuously) to the path like this:
Example: For Binh Duong province, you add the province name before “xuatnhapcanh”: http://binhduong.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/

Account Setup:
- If you don’t have an account, please sign up for one
- You only need to log in once and the account will be saved to the website like many other websites
- Upon successful login, fill in all the required information in the fields as shown in the image
Important: The fields marked with a red * are the most important information and cannot be left blank. If not, you will not be able to register successfully.
Once completed, click Finish. If the window shows successful registration, you have completed the first step of the temporary residence registration process.
