|Where are you living?||Outside Viet Nam|
I attended elementary and high school in an English immersion program, so schools that are 100% in English. Furthermore, I lived in Vancouver from ages 12 to 15. I consider myself a true native speaker of the English language.
As for my teaching experience, I taught for one year at the Cree School Board in Mistissini. That was an all English program. After my one year in northern Quebec, I did not know what to do with my career, so I travel for 2 years around the world. I stayed 1 year in Australia and then travelled for one year, to Thailand, Germany, Spain, Marocco and other countries as well.
After a 2 year absence, I wanted to get a bachelors degree that could help me to keep on travelling and help others to be passionate about the language that helped me travel the world, English. It was a no brainer, I applied to start a bachelors degree in teaching English as a second language. It was the perfect fit! As soon as I started my bachelors, I went to schools and offered my services as an English teacher. It did not take long for them to hire me. I have been teaching English for the past 4 years.
As I am speaking with you, I am finishing my fourth and final practicum. To top it off, as soon as I am done with my practicum, the Riveraine school board has ask me to take a contract that will be full-time (100%), as an English teacher till the end of the school year.
I think I would be the best candidate for the opening. I am very determined, resourceful, polite and a hard worker. Teaching English in a foreign country is my calling. If you agree to only get me an interview, I promise you will see how I am the perfect fit for the job and the best man you can have.
Hope to here from you soon,
