As a Business English Teacher, I am responsible for teaching and honing the communication skills of the company’s employees. The goal is to empower them and help them learn business terms in English that they can appropriately use in their everyday job. Topics of the lesson vary from business-related and IT-related topics to technology, science, environment, and even math. We also tackle basic topics like meeting, traveling, phone conversation and others. These classes cover Speaking, Reading, and Listening.

Anglia International Standard English is an assessment for Common European Framework of Reference for Languages levels A2 - C1. It provides organizations, colleges, and universities a certificate showing the candidate has English proficiency at a specific CEFR level. The AISET is made up of 180 questions divided into five main parts: Listening, Reading, Use of English, Writing, and Speaking.
I trained Vietnamese English teachers in the Province of Ca Mau to pass the AISET. I am proud to say that all of the 60 teachers I trained passed – 55 for B2 Level and 5 for B1 Level.

During my three-year job as a Guest Relations Associate, I was mostly assigned to handle VIPs. I managed different Front Office operations such as – but not limited to – handling guest concerns, guaranteeing smooth embarkation and debarkation, preparing immigration requirements and all other documents needed in different ports of calls, dealing with Immigration Officers from different countries, disseminating information to guests as well as Hotel and Technical teams, and ensuring smooth and effective operation of the vessel. Being a Senior Officer of the Front Office Department, I was also assigned to train newly employed associates, making sure that they were well-versed with the guidelines and processes of the company and all its operations.

As a Front Desk Officer, I was mainly responsible with proper communication among staff, passengers, and different guests on board. I was in charge of all announcements and guest services on board. I also trained students from different colleges and universities around the country who embarked the ship as part of their communication and customer service course requirement.
