Aurora international Preschool of the Arts (Aurora) fully embraces “child hood” as a magical time of life for our youngest citizens from 12 months to 6 years old. Inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy – in which school’s environment and architecture together with the depth of local cultural are believed to be the third teacher to the children; Aurora offers a special place where children are nurtured in self-discovery and creativity through engaging environments. Children become active participants in their own learning through a respectful and responsive pedagogy that recognizes and celebrates the intrinsic value of childhood. We are looking for the potential candidates for some positions to expand our school system:

• Plan the yearly project with the other co-Lead teacher, the Principal and the Pedagogista of the school and create daily, stimulating learning possibilities involving ALL the children in the project in line with the Reggio Approach;

• Collaborate with the other Lead Teacher in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate project suitable to the age needs and interests of the children in their care;

• Divide the responsibilities with the teachers based on their experience, professional and personality characteristics;

• Take care of the daily documentation: take pictures, write down the words of the children, fill up the daily observation form;

• Find a right moment in the morning (usually the breakfast or earlier when the children are engaged in freeplay) to talk with the colleagues about the children and the plan of the day and divide all the responsibilities of the day;

• Mentor class colleagues (support teachers) concerning the children’s care, education and authentic implementation of the Reggio Emilia approach ;
