We are a growing, fairly new international preschool in Vietnam with multicultural students and teachers. We are an ESL environment and we teach children from 2 – 5 years old. We have a nice facility nestled in the quiet part of town. We are play-based and are trying to integrate different pedagogies as we go along. Our founders are very much inclined towards Montessori/ Reggio/ Waldorf.
With our steadily growing number of students, we are looking at expanding our pool of teachers. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic, and open-minded individuals who share our love for playing, singing, laughing, and exploring with our students.
For this particular post, we are looking for a teacher with a strong Early Years classroom background who likes physical activities. Knowing numerous sports is a plus as we would like to expose our students to more physical activities and start their motor skills (balance, hand-eye, swing, throw, etc.). This job post will be a balance between working on gross motor skills of the different sets of children, as well as handling classroom teaching following an English curriculum.
We are not a big school system, yet we try to give the best treatment we can to each of our team members. We offer housing allowance plus a set yearly amount for flights. If you live nearby, not in Binh Duong, we'd be happy to compensate bus or petrol allowance. We work from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 - 5:00 PM. We may have some events on a weekend or parents' nights - but these occur no more than once a month, the work is no more than 2 hours, and overtime pay will be credited for these events. You would also get a daily set rice meal for lunch for free, should you wish to eat staff food. You would have 25 days paid leave when the school is closed, plus local holidays.
Our philosophy is quite simple - children learn best when they are in a comforting environment and offered varied opportunities for meaningful experiences. Our mission as a group is to continue to provide a unique learning experience for our students - help them grow into curious, creative, confident learners in a happy, home-like environment.
